In my last post we looked at how to make websites more perceivable. The next aspect of web accessibility that relates closely to design is making them more understandable.
As more governments are adopting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as part of their policies for digital content, it’s becoming more important for designers to understand what this means, and how to build it into their products. The good news is, an accessible website is good for everybody, not just those with disabilities.
